Sounds-Write – Teaching through errors – the secret weapon against illiteracy!

The Sounds-Write Reading and Spelling programme have a ‘teaching through errors’ approach to supporting a child reading. This is a fantastic way to use the correct language when pupils make reading errors. It uses these errors as opportunities to clarify the error and show the pupil how to self correct. This is a best kept secret that against illiteracy that all teachers and TAs should know!
